During this wonderful excursion we will discover the most visited places of Tenerife.
We will set off from the south of the island to our first stop in Vilaflor de Chasna, to taste the typical coffee of Tenerife “el barraquito”. Vilaflor is also the highest village in the Canary Islands at 1450 metres above sea level. After this we will enter the CORONA NATURAL PARK, the largest protected area of the Canary Islands, where we will discover the endemic flora of this magical place.
We will observe the dramatic transformation of landscape as we enter the Teide National Park, home of the third largest volcano in the world.
We will stop at the imposing Roques de Garcia at 2100 meters of altitude and take in the otherworldly lunar landscape of the national park.
Our next destination is Masca, a town of approximately 90 inhabitants nestled in the deepest Canyon in the Archipelago, with giant cliffs of up to 500 metres and breath-taking views.
We will continue through the Rural Park of Teno, where examples of traditional architecture and island customs can still be observed to this day.
Next we will stop at the picturesque coastal village of Garachico for a typical Canarian lunch and to visit the natural rock pools formed by the eruption of the Trevejo volcano, which submerged the most important port of the island at that time.
After lunch we will head to Icod de Los Vinos to discover the legendary millenary Drago, an ancient and fabulous tree which is considered the symbol of Tenerife.
