Our most popular Tenerife excursion takes you up to a heady height of 2.400 metres into the out-of-this-world volcanic landscape of the most visited National Park in Europe; “EL TEIDE NATIONAL PARK“.
Here visitors will be able to observe the majesty of Mount Teide, measuring 3.718 metres, making it the third highest volcano in the world.
Our trip sets off from the south of the island and as we travel up the mountain we will begin to observe the changes in vegetation and weather.
We will stop in “VILAFLOR DE CHASNA“, the highest municipality of Spain at 1450 metres, to enjoy a Barraquito (typical coffee of the island).
From here we will enter the CORONA NATURAL PARK to observe the Pino Gordo (Fat Pine), with a circumference of up to 9.36 metres, considered the world’s biggest of this species.
As we traverse the Canarian pine forest you will have the chance to photograph the extraordinary changing landscapes as we increase altitude, passing through a sea of clouds, lava flows that reach the edge of the road and amazing views of the western islands (LA GOMERA, EL HIERRO Y LA PALMA).
We will then arrive at the World Heritage Site of El Teide National Park.
Here the landscape changes again and we are suddenly surrounded by a rocky lunar landscape and vegetation never seen before! We will make several stops on the way to the peak at the ROQUES DE GARCÍA and LAS MINAS DE SAN JOSE.
Finally will stop at the slope of Pico Viejo to enjoy a truly PARADISIAC SUNSHINE.
An excursion that will surely thrill your senses and make you marvel at the wonderful universe we live in.
