We will pick you up in the south of the island to reach Santa Cruz, the capital of Tenerife, and embark. After 80 minutes by ferry, around 11:30 we will arrive at the port of the pretty town of Agaete to discover Gran Canaria together!
Arrival in Gran Canaria
Agaete is one of the most beautiful cities in the northwest of Gran Canaria.
Your first destination will be Arucas, where you will visit the famous Ron Arehucas factory, one of the oldest on the island. Later you will taste, if you wish, the various rums produced
This rum became popular in the Canary Islands in 1940. But, even before that, it was named Official Supplier of the Royal House, an award granted by Queen María Cristina of Austria. Undoubtedly, a rum that is part of the recent history of the Canary Islands and you will understand its history on this one day visit to Gran Canaria.
Visit Poema del Mar
We will then go to Poema del Mar to see its Aquarium, which is located in the center of the capital: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
You will see fantastic protected species, divided into three zones:
- Jungle
- Deep ocean
- Coral reef – Beach
To conclude the tour, you will visit the historic center of Las Palmas, in particular the Vegueta district, where you will have the opportunity to visit:
- The Square of Santa Ana
- The Cathedral of Santa Ana
- The Atlantic Center of Modern Art in Las Palmas
- The House of Christopher Columbus.
The return will be at 8:30 pm in Tenerife.
